Record-breaking architecture, desert adventures, and world-class hospitality — the Emirates pair modern luxury with Bedouin heritage and easy access to neighbouring emirates.

General

UAE Tourist Visa

Updated 20 Sept 2025

Requirements

The UAE does not issue visas at embassy counters for most tourists — entry permits are typically arranged by airlines, hotels, or licensed travel agents as part of flight or hotel booking. Many nationalities receive visa-on-arrival for 30–90 days depending on passport. Passport must be valid at least six months. Israeli passport holders should verify current entry policy separately.

Processing

Visa-on-arrival: proceed to immigration at DXB, AUH, or other UAE airports if your nationality qualifies. Pre-arranged tourist visas through airlines or agents: apply 3–10 days before travel. GCC residents may qualify for visa-on-arrival with valid residence permit.

UAE visa policy is nationality-specific and updated regularly. Entry is at the discretion of immigration authorities. SkyFlyZone can assist with visa coordination when booking land packages but is not an immigration authority.

United States

Visa on Arrival

Updated 20 Sept 2025

Requirements

US passport holders with ordinary passports generally receive a free visa-on-arrival valid for 30 days, extendable once for an additional 30 days through an immigration office. Passport must be valid at least six months. No pre-arranged visa required for standard tourism when flying directly to UAE airports.

Processing

Proceed to immigration on arrival. Extension applications at Amer centres or immigration offices before initial 30-day period expires. Overstay fines apply daily.

Applies to US citizens with standard tourist passports. Dual nationals and special passport types should confirm separately.
